What’s the difference between Cyber Essentials & Cyber Essentials Plus?

Cyber Essentials Is the basic level of accreditation which gives a statement of the five basic controls that your firm should have in place to mitigate risk from common cyber threats. Firms complete a self-assessment questionnaire which is then assessed by a licensed assessor such as Lawyer Checker.

Cyber Essentials Plus Is the highest level of certification offered under the IASME licensed certification process. It offers a much more rigorous audit of your firm’s systems. Lawyer Checker’s team of cyber security experts conduct vulnerability tests to make sure your firm has the five key security controls in place and that they are working efficiently.
